ABOUT US
A Local Approach to Financial Advice
Greybox Wealth is a financial planning and wealth management business based in Bendigo, supporting clients across regional Victoria, Melbourne, and interstate.
We operate as a deliberately focused practice, working with a select number of clients to ensure a consistent level of service and attention.
Our approach is structured and considered, bringing together advice across investments, superannuation, retirement, and personal protection to support your financial position over time.
How We Work
We work with clients on an ongoing basis, providing advice that evolves as circumstances change.
This includes regular reviews, ongoing portfolio oversight, and guidance across key financial decisions as they arise.
Advice is provided within a self-licensed structure, allowing flexibility in approach and independence in how recommendations are made.
Our Approach
Financial advice can often feel fragmented. Our role is to bring structure and clarity to your overall position.
Rather than focusing on individual products or short-term decisions, we consider how each part of your circumstances works together over time.
In practice, this involves balancing investments, income, risk, and longer-term planning to ensure your strategy remains appropriate as your circumstances evolve.
Different Approach to Advice
1. Why did you start Greybox Wealth?
We felt it was important to operate under our own AFSL, allowing us to focus on strategy rather than product. This also provides the flexibility to work with a range of providers, including industry funds that many clients are already familiar with.
2. How is your approach different?
We work with a smaller number of clients, allowing us to provide a consistent level of service and a more direct relationship. Advice is not transactional—it evolves alongside the client.
3. Why did Marty and Phil decide to work together?
We felt there was a strong alignment in how we approached advice, particularly around focusing on client outcomes and taking a long-term view.
We also bring different experience and perspectives, which allows for more considered decision-making. Importantly, we are comfortable challenging each other where needed, ensuring advice is well thought through and appropriate for the client.
What does a good advice relationship look like to you?
A structured and ongoing advice relationship, with clear communication and a focus on ensuring your financial position remains aligned over time
4. What’s important to know from a client’s perspective?
It’s important to feel comfortable asking your adviser difficult questions. At the end of the day, these decisions relate to your financial future, and having clarity around your position is essential
